Recruitment is currently funding certain social upliftment
programs for the previously disadvantaged at Botshebelo in
Midrand.
Botshabelo is a Tswana word meaning 'Place
of Refuge'
Botshabelo addresses the needs of abandoned,
sick and abused
children, abused
women and economically disadvantaged people. Botshabelo
is a Non Profit Organisation
registered with the Department
Of Welfare and has been operational since May
1999.
The four programs currently
running are:
The Babies Home is situated in Midrand, with the Food Garden
Training Base, but much work is done in the local community.
The Botshabelo base is then used as a centre of excellence
to provide support and act as a resource. We have 19 staff
and over 20 volunteers who are dedicated to the core goals
of Botshabelo: Social
upliftment and empowerment.
